Hi, this is Alex Giraldo, main member of LETHAL FIRE.

What is your band's name? How did you come up with that name?

LETHAL FIRE

LETHAL FIRE from Colombia.

ATP

So who's in the band and what instruments do you each play?

LETHAL FIRE

Freddy Avila (vocals) – Manuel Buenaventura and me (guitars). Session members: Andres Suarez (bass) – Charles Hewitt (drums).

How would you describe your sound. What makes you unique?

LETHAL FIRE

The vocals are Death Metal, but the music is Thrash Metal with melodies and harmonies close to Heavy Metal. So I thing we play Melodic Thrash Metal.

What bands have influenced each of you?

LETHAL FIRE

Old Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer.

ATP

How experienced are you on the stage, a virgin or whore?

LETHAL FIRE

We are between virgin and whore, but we’ve played 1 or 2 shows per year, and some years none.

ATP

How would you describe your shows?

LETHAL FIRE

Our shows are shorts because we are an opening band, so we play almost always 8 songs. The singer speaks few words to play song after song during the little time on stage.

Tell us about your favorite show and why?

LETHAL FIRE

Our second show in 2004 we played with an old Colombian band called Neurosis Inc. there were a lot of people and the sound was great.

Tell us about your worst show and why?

LETHAL FIRE

Paradoxically the last time we played with Neurosis Inc again, I had serious problems with my guitar pedal, the sound failes for long seconds and my solos sounded awful that fucking night. That was the same day which Dio died.

Tell Us About Your Dream Show, who you'd like to play with and where?

LETHAL FIRE

My dream is to play in Europe at some open air festivals with any classical band as Megadeth or Iron Maiden

Do you have a street team and how can you join?

LETHAL FIRE

Do you have a record label and if not are you looking for one?

LETHAL FIRE

I’m looking for a label. I’m grateful with Satanica Prods (New Zeland) & Zatanic Tony (Sweden) for their interest to spread my music, but I’m looking for more help, that’s the idea of every small band in the world to become known.

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

LETHAL FIRE

In a year: to find a bass player and a drummer to complete the official line up. In 5 years to record another full length album and to play outside my country.

LETHAL FIRE
